At Brown Bear Day Care
We are a provincially licensed child care centre providing a home-like environment for our children. Our program fees are set according to Ministry guidelines for child-teacher ratios.
A two-week deposit is required upon enrolment and is calculated with the pre-CWELCC daily rate. This deposit is applied to your child’s last two weeks of care at Brown Bear.
A $25/day late fee will be charged for any payment received later than closing on the first of the month, as per the enrolment contract documents (please see these docs for details).
Brown Bear Day Care offers subsidized spaces for eligible families, which can be applied for through the City of Ottawa's Child Care Registry and Waitlist (CCRAW).
Brown Bear Day Care is proud to participate in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program, now offering CWELCC-reduced fees to our families. We will continue to adjust fees downwards as mandated by the Ministry of Education and regulated by the City of Ottawa, and all further reductions will be communicated with our families through our communication app and our newsletter.
